The NEC NP-P420X XGA Entry-Level Professional Installation Projector works equally well in the media room, classroom or meeting room. Its 4200 Lumens and 2000:1 contrast ratio provide a rich, vivid picture in a variety of projection environments.
Its native resolution is XGA (1024 x 768) but it can also scale images in the VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA, SXGA+ and UXGA resolutions. It can also project video images in the NTSC, NTSC4.43, PAL, PAL-60, PAL-M, PAL-N and SECAM television standards. In addition it can handle both 720p and 1080i high definition programming. And its 100 - 240 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz power supply makes it useable just about anywhere in the world.
The NP-P420X has lots of features you can appreciate while you're in the same room with it too. Setup is easy thanks to Keystone Correction which automatically squares up your image while Autosense detects and syncs the projector with most computers. The Virtual Remote Tool software that comes with the projector allows you to control it from your laptop when you connect them with the VGA cable that's included. No other cabling is required. And if you want to leave your laptop behind, the USB Viewer feature allows you to screen program material accessed from a USB drive. You can even project images onto objects like spheres or cylinders or into corners via the Geometric Correction function. The Active Lens Cover acts like a pause shutter in case you want to halt video and audio briefly to illustrate a point. While there's a powerful 10W built-in speaker, there's also a variable audio output for an external speaker in case you need to reach a larger crowd. The NP-P420X's wide connectivity also includes HDMI, a monitor output and USB.
You can also monitor and control the NP-P420X from just about anywhere in the world there's a connection to the Internet. That's because this projector is network ready. Plug it into your LAN via its RJ-45 jack and you can remotely monitor and control it from anywhere on your local network or across the Internet. You can even have it email you when it detects a fault or the projector lamp is nearing the end of its life. Closed Captioning, from program sources that provide it, is ideal for the hearing-impaired or for any noisy environment like gyms, trade shows or conventions. One of the NP-P420X's most important features is its energy efficiency. In Eco-Mode lamp life shoots up to 3500 hours while fan noise drops from 36dB to a minimal 30dB.
The NP-P420X actually has a carbon savings meter that can optionally project session and total CO2 emissions saved due to Eco-Mode use at the beginning and end of each presentation when Eco-Mode is used. You can turn Eco-Mode off and on with one button on the remote. Other energy saving features include quick start (three to four seconds) and quick shutdown (which requires no additional cool-down time after the projector is turned off). In addition the projector can turn on automatically when it detects a computer signal and turn off automatically when it detects no signal from any input.

Freight Shipping for Large Items
Large or heavy products, including most televisions and oversized electronics, may require freight shipping. Freight shipments can take additional time to arrive. Contact us for an estimated delivery timeframe when ordering a large or heavy item.
What to Expect With Freight Delivery
- Someone must be present: Freight deliveries require someone to receive and sign for the shipment.
- Delivery appointment: The carrier will contact you to arrange delivery to your door or the lobby area of an apartment or condominium.
- Delivery hours: Freight deliveries are generally scheduled Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
- Unpacking and installation: Freight drivers do not unpack, install, or set up equipment and do not remove old equipment or packaging.
- Keep the packaging: Original manufacturer packaging may be required if the product needs to be returned or transported later.
Crawford's Superstore Return & Refund Policy
Eligible products may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date, subject to the conditions and exclusions below.
1. How to Start a Return
All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before the product is shipped back.
- Request an RMA: Contact our support team at info@crawfordssuperstore.com.
- Pack the product securely: Use the original manufacturer's packaging and include all accessories, manuals, and supplied components. Double-boxing is strongly recommended.
- Check the package: Make sure the product is complete and safely packaged before shipping it back. Incomplete or improperly packaged returns may be subject to additional fees.
2. Return Shipping Responsibility
- Return Shipping: The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product has been verified as defective.
- Original Shipping Costs: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If the product was sold with free shipping, the actual shipping cost paid by Crawford's Superstore may be deducted from the refund.
- Returns Over $75: A trackable shipping service and shipping insurance for the full product value are required. Crawford's Superstore is not responsible for products lost or damaged during return transit.
3. Refunds & Restocking Fees
Factory-Sealed Products:
Brand-new, factory-sealed products may not incur a restocking fee, subject to inspection and verification.
Restocking Fee:
Change-of-mind returns or products returned with an opened box or signs of use may be subject to a restocking fee
of up to 15% to account for diminished resale value.
4. Return Inspection & Refund Processing
- Inspection: Returned products are inspected and the product condition and serial number are verified before a refund is approved.
- Refund Processing: Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. Your financial institution may require additional time for the credit to appear.
5. Non-Returnable Products
The following products cannot be returned after the factory seal has been broken or the product has been used:
- Projectors & Projection Lamps: Non-returnable once opened, unsealed, or lamp/light-source hours have been used.
- Large Displays: Televisions and monitors 37 inches and larger must remain factory sealed to qualify for a return.
- Computers & Software: Opened computers and opened software are non-returnable.
- Custom Products: Custom cut-to-length audio or video cables are non-returnable.
- Missing Product Identifiers: Products with missing, removed, or altered UPC codes or serial numbers are non-returnable.
6. Serial Number Verification
For fraud prevention and product verification, Crawford's Superstore records serial numbers for applicable electronics before shipment.
The serial number on any returned product must match the serial number recorded when the original order was shipped. Returns containing a different, altered, or missing serial number may be denied.
7. Defective Products
If a product is verified as defective, Crawford's Superstore will provide a prepaid return shipping label and send a new replacement unit at no additional cost once the defect has been confirmed.
