Product Description

The Sony BRC-H800 is a high-performance robotic camera that brings broadcast-quality imagery to a compact PTZ form factor. At its heart is a large 1.0-type back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor, which captures crisp, low-noise Full HD images at 60p. This large sensor excels in dimly lit environments such as theaters and auditoriums while also allowing for artistic shallow depth-of-field effects, helping subjects stand out against a beautifully blurred background.

Equipped with a premium lens system, the BRC-H800 offers a 12x optical zoom range that maintains exceptional detail. For tighter shots, advanced digital technology extends this range to 24x in HD without visible loss of resolution. The camera is engineered for smooth, near-silent PTZ operation, with specialized modes for both fast-paced action and slow, precise tracking. Advanced features allow for the pre-programming of complex camera movements, enabling professional-looking transitions with minimal operator intervention.

Integration into existing workflows is simplified through various connectivity options, including dual 3G-SDI outputs, HDMI, and Genlock for multi-camera synchronization. The BRC-H800 supports PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus), which carries both power and IP control over a single cable, significantly reducing installation time and cabling costs. With front and rear tally lamps and support for standard broadcast control protocols, this camera is a versatile and reliable choice for any professional AV or broadcast environment.
